The Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge encourages schools to submit applications for the chance to receive an award to support grassroots initiatives that promote student nutrition and healthier school environments through nutrition-related activities and programming. Submissions must explain their current school environment and improvement plans for the upcoming school year and show how they use authentic stakeholder engagement and partnerships.
20th Anniversary 2026 Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge – 20 for 20!
The Saskatchewan School Boards Association and The Mosaic Company are delighted to announce the 2026 Mosaic School Nutrition Challenge is now open to all Saskatchewan schools. To celebrate the 20th year of the Mosaic Challenge in 2026, we’re launching 20 for 20. That means 20 schools across the province will each receive a $20,000 grant for a total of $400,000 in funding from Mosaic for this anniversary year. Thank you Mosaic!

- Plans MUST include a nutrition component.
- Open to provincially and federally funded schools in Saskatchewan providing the K-12 curriculum.
- New programs and projects or enhancements to successful existing programs are considered.
- Application deadline is Mar. 31, 2026.
- A response email will be sent upon receipt of your application.
- For any questions, please contact challenge@saskschoolboards.ca.
- Award recipients will be notified of their status in May.
- All participants not selected for an award will receive a Certificate of Recognition in June.
