The Saskatchewan School Boards Association offers several awards for boards and board members, as well as scholarships for graduating high school students.
Life Memberships
The Association presents Life and Honorary Life Memberships to trustees for service at the provincial and national level. Please contact the Association if seeking information about Life and Honorary Life Memberships.
Award of Distinction
The Association presents the Award of Distinction to school board members who have demonstrated outstanding service and made significant contributions to enhance education which is visible at provincial levels.
Lieutenant Governor’s Award
The Lieutenant Governor’s Board of Education Award For Innovation and Excellence in Education recognizes educational innovations and improvements focused on student achievement that have been advanced or directed by boards of education.
Education Scholarships
Each year the Saskatchewan School Boards Association offers two Education Scholarships of $3,000 each to graduating Saskatchewan high school students.
