I want to acknowledge I am on Treaty (insert Treaty Number) and that Saskatchewan is covered by Treaties 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, the lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Dene, Lakota, Nakota and homeland of the Métis Nation.
All people in Saskatchewan are beneficiaries of these Treaties. We respect and honour the Treaties that were made on all territories. We acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and are committed to move forward in partnership with Indigenous Nations in the spirit of Reconciliation and collaboration.
