Commission on Financing Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education
The provincial government established the Commission on Financing Kindergarten to Grade 12 Education in May 2003. From May to December 2003, the Commission will review how K-12 education is funded in Saskatchewan. Throughout that period, we will gather input from Saskatchewan residents as well as civic, agriculture, real estate and other interest groups.

Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency.
SAMA is an independent agency that is responsible to the Province of Saskatchewan, local government (municipalities and school boards) and property owners.

Provincial legislation mandates SAMA to develop and maintain the province's assessment policies, standards and procedures; to perform audit assessments, and review and confirm municipal assessment rolls; and to provide property valuation services to local governments (municipalities and school boards).
