School Board Development Services

School boards have an important job - educating young people for success in a constantly changing world. The decisions boards make shape the learning program in the schools of the division, influence students' day-to-day experiences in their classrooms, and affect parents' involvement in their children's education.

School Board Development Services provides information, services and resources to strengthen school boards' capacity to govern effectively.

As well as offering services to school boards, The Saskatchewan School Boards Association advocates for the school program and student achievement within the broader K-12 education system.

As part of the Saskatchewan School Boards Association, School Board Development Services offers the following services to Saskatchewan School Boards:

  • Trustee Education and Board Development
  • Information and Research
  • Policy Support
